In this situation i would center my argument based on previous success.  It is obvious that through the last couple years, when i have been working at this restaurant.  Despite the economy, the efforts that led to a successful business were ones that i was involved in.  I believe that i need this restaurant, but it also needs me.  It may not exist the same with an inexperienced work staff.  My audience would be the owner of the restaurant that would be hiring me.  Concerns she will have will be whether to add another staff member, or to fire a current employee.  She may also decide to just leave me behind.  I will ensure that if emotions are taken out of this, that keeping me is the wise business decision. Constraints will be the relationship that we already have.  I am not sure exactly how to determine these restrictions because the situation is rhetorical and i do not actually know this person.  Also, it would not be wise to bring up personal or emotional points, because that may weigh her decision the wrong way.  It is best to talk business and  make my argument very positive for her side of the business.
